As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I've gotten back to cutting wood again. I have to admit... I'm in love! Here was my journey this holiday break. My client was looking for gifts for her sorority sisters. After a few ideas, the concept was to go with something a different than a typical paddle and to change it up a little. I suggested staining the project to class the piece up a little bit.
The week of cutting and painting started off on a kind of bad note and left my favorite jigsaw at home in Indy. I was sad, because I knew I'd to use my first saw. It tortures my hand, seriously.

Next my other least favorite thing to do... Sanding.

And then came painting... My favorite part after the actually design stage.
My first jigsaw likes to torture me.
I was very happy with the stain and paint colors together.

Finally after all the cutting, staining and painting the finish product came together.

For some reason I focused a lot on the #4... hmmmm.

Hey, what can I say... This is what Imagine, Design, and Breathe is all about.

That's it for today.
Just dream it... Merry
